Catching up part 2

When I was digging the basement I hit sandstone about 12' down, so after hammering out the rock it was time for the footers to be poured.

After the footers were poured it was time for the walls to be poured.

Added the gravel, leveled it out then waited on the concrete trucks to show up.
Poured the floor, next step floor trusses.
Until next time,
Tim

  1. Tim,
What part of Kentucky are y'all from? My husband and I grew up in Beaver Dam, Ky. It is located about 30 minutes outside of Owensboro. I spent every summer with my grandmother at Santa Clause Land, and now my kids go with their grandmother and enjoy Holiday World. Your pictures remind me of the area I grew up in, and to be honest made me a little bit homesick. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. Now I can enjoy your journey as well.
    grace and peace,
    julie

  2. You have a very good eye, I'm about an hour from Beaver Dam and 30 minutes from Owensboro. I was just in Beaver Dam last week, my uncle lived in Centertown and passed away last week. You may even know of him he was a teacher/Princple in Ohio Co. for years, his name was Bryan Taylor.

It's a small world we go to Holiday World as well and my kids love it, I actually did a post sometime back on the Lincoln State Park there outside Santa Clause. I've been following your blog for quite some time, I guess now I know why since your from my neck of the woods lol.
